Mangochi

Mangochi is a small place near the southernmost point of Lake Malawi. It was founded in the 19th century by English colonizers, and today coconuts, tobacco, and cotton are grown here. There are also several boat-making workshops. What attracts tourists the most is the beautiful sandy beach of the lake, over which coconuts and other tropical plants grow. Mangochi is an undiscovered gem of tourism and is a real paradise for those who don’t like crowds.
