Vaduz Castle or Schloss Vaduz is the official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein, Hans-Adam II. It dates back to the 12th century, but since it's erecting the Vaduz Castle has undergone several thorough reconstructions and expansions, so a smaller part of the castle dates from that time. Since the royal family lives in it, Vaduz Castle is not open to the public, but it can be viewed from a relatively short distance.
