The last wooden bridge on the entire course of the Rhine is located in Lichtenstein, in the town of Vaduz. Alte Rheinbrücke or the Old Bridge Vaduz was built in 1901 but has been completely rebuilt several times due to changes in the level of the Rhine River. The last renovation took place in 2010. The bridge is 135 meters long, covered with a wooden roof, and it is used exclusively by pedestrians and cyclists since motor vehicles are prohibited from traffic.
