Fürstensteig
The Fürstensteig is the most popular hiking trail in Liechtenstein. The trail starts in Gaflei and ends in Planken, 12 kilometers apart. The Fürstensteig hiking trail is typically crossed in about 5 hours, as it contains narrow passages, steep ascents and descents, and considerable physical effort. All this is compensated in many ways by beautiful scenes, clean air, and good fun. It is recommended to wear good shoes and not to carry unnecessary luggage. Also, be sure to check with the tourist information office the weather forecast and the condition of the trail before going hiking.
