Blue Lagoon is a narrow, natural bay in the eastern part of the island of Efate, Vanuatu. The relatively small width contributes to the impression that you are on a river, more than on the ocean. The warm, crystal clean water entices visitors to swim, snorkel, rope jump, and jump from the platforms. The Blue Lagoon is on private property, so a small fee is paid at the entrance. Visitors have toilets and changing cabins available, but food and refreshments are brought by themselves, as there are no bars or restaurants.
