Chorsu Market is located in the heart of the historical part of the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. Chorsu means crossroads, and many bazaars bear this name. There is evidence that this place was a trading spot 1500 years ago, although this bazaar has little in common with the glorious time of the Silk Road merchants and caravans. Friendly sellers will patiently explain to you what they are selling, how it is used or consumed, and what the benefits are compared to similar products. This shows that these people have been involved in the trade for generations.
