Alisher Navoï Opera is located in Tashkent, in its central district. This magnificent building was built in 1947 for the needs of a professional theater that was assembled in 1929. It got the name after Alisher Navoï, poet, writer, linguist, mystic, politician, and painter that lived in the 15th century.
