Rwenzori Mountains National Park
Rwenzori Mountains National Park is located in the west of the country, on the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. The park houses the third highest mountain peak in Africa. The unique natural beauty, biodiversity, and geological phenomena contributed to the park being included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994. There are lakes, glaciers, and waterfalls. Visitors can take numerous trails for hiking and climbing, and the scenes that can be seen along the way are unreal!
