Kidepo Valley National Park has two savannah valleys on its territory - Kidepo and Narus. Narus is somewhat richer in annual rainfall than Kidepo, so vegetation and wildlife distribution differ. In Kidepo Valley National Park, you can find lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes, elephants, zebras, African buffalo, rodents, ungulates, and over 500 species of birds. The park is cross-border and is located in the extreme northeast of the country, on the border with South Sudan, on whose territory most of the park is located.
