Kasubi Royal Tombs is located in the capital of Uganda, Kampala. This 26-hectare complex houses the 1882 Royal Palace, built by Muteesa I, which became his tomb after his death, but also three rulers who ruled later: Mwanga II, Daudi Chwa II, and Sir Edward Muteesa II. Unfortunately, this complex, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, suffered great damage in the fire of 2010, when the tomb and the largest hut burned down. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
