Yangmingshan National Park
Yangmingshan National Park is the place of endless natural adventure that offers diverse activities, such as hiking, enjoying the steaming fumaroles and hot springs, birdwatching, and walking through landscaped gardens. This enchanting place takes up the upper section of the Yangmingshan massif and includes its crowning Yangming Park, along with Datun Nature Park, and many other natural features. Yangmingshan comprises the westernmost peaks of the Datun Mountain Range, and it came into existence through volcanic activity around 2 million years ago. In winter, the mountains’ volcanic origins flock to Yangmingshan’s many hot-spring resorts.
