Pelham Bay Park
Located in the northeast corner of New York City, the Pelham Bay Park is the largest public park here. Its size is 2,772 acres. This vast natural park is endowed with forests, meadows not to mention the salty coastline. If you happen to visit Pelham Bay Park, you certainly can't miss visiting Orchard Beach and Hunter Island. At Pelham Bay Park, you will also find a lagoon that runs through it. Nature trails are also available which makes this place ideal for hiking.
