Having being founded in 1910, this urban Botanic Garden is a sight to behold. It was founded at a time when New York was developing at a very fast rate with sky scrappers emerging from all over with paved pathways allover. Having a green space amidst all this concrete was one of the best decisions ever made. The BBG, as it is commonly known, features a Japanese Hill-and-pond garden, rock garden and thousands of plant species.
