Kathmandu Valley
Kathmandu Valley is located in the central part of the country and is also known as the Nepal Valley. According to many, Kathmandu Valley is the essence of Nepal. This valley used to be a lake, and now it is a collage of fertile fields and historical buildings and monuments. As many as seven of the 130 important historical monuments located in this valley have found their place on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. And there is the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, which is a treasure trove of attractions of the whole country.
