National Kandawgyi Gardens

The National Kandawgyi Gardens was founded in 1915 by a forest researcher Alex Rogers. During the 20th century, its size was expanded to 177 hectares. Visitors highlight the amazing diversity of plants, including many species of trees, bamboo, crotons, and especially orchids. Everyone is welcome to visit three museums, Pagoda Island, Rainbow Fountain, Rain Forest, and other highlights of the National Kandawgyi Gardens and spend an amazing day in this true gem of Myanmar.
