Durmitor
Durmitor is a mountain massif located in northwestern Montenegro. With almost 50 peaks above 2.000 meters and 18 glacial lakes, the area is a true heaven for nature lovers. One of the most beautiful and popular lakes is Black Lake at an elevation of 1.416 m. In 1952, Durmitor National Park was created as the largest protected area in Montenegro. It was inscribed in 1980 on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
