Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex is a magnificent building, a work of art dedicated to the most famous Mongol, the great unifier of the nomadic peoples of Northeast Asia, the conqueror, and the first ruler of what will become one of the greatest empires of all time after his death. The statue is 40 meters high, made of stainless steel, and is the work of sculptor D. Erdenebileg and architect J. Enkhjargal. It was placed east of Ulaanbaatar, at the place where the legend, Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip. From the base, you can climb to the horse's head from where there is a panoramic view of the complex.
