Truk Lagoon or Chuuk Lagoon is the most popular diving center in the Federated States of Micronesia. This group of islands is surrounded by a natural reef that forms a natural harbor that has been a shelter from sea storms and natural hazards for centuries. During World War I, the Japanese Imperial Fleet sank many German ships here. Allied forces sank a large part of the Japanese Imperial Fleet in World War II, leaving a lagoon full of sunken warships, military equipment, and warplanes. You can assume that this is a paradise for wreck diving, so visitors from all over the world come to dive and capture images of scary sea scenes with their cameras.
