Sokehs Rock or Paipalap is a rock that is the most outstanding geological feature of the island of Pohnpei, west of the island's capital Kolonia. Like many other places on and around this island, there is evidence here of a Japanese anti-aircraft battery still (though destroyed) at the top of the cliff, guarding an airport not far from the cliff. Nowadays, this rock is a popular hiking destination, with mandatory lessons from the not-so-distant past from local guides.
