Mohale dam

Mohale Dam is another in a series of engineering wonders of Lesotho, but also of the entire continent. Mohale is a stone-filled, rock-faced dam across the Senqunyane River. There is the 32-kilometer-long underground tunnel that brings water to Katse Dam and thus forms part of the water supply system of Gauteng, the province of Pretoria and Johannesburg. It is 700 meters long and 145 meters high, and it is popular among visitors who come here to cruise by boat on the reservoir, admiring the wonder of construction and the mountains whose slopes descend into the water.
