Samburu Trails are located in the Samburu National Reserve, in central Kenya. The Ewaso Ng'iro river flows through the middle of the reserve. This river is the only source of water in this unforgiving dry area. But, thanks to the river, large herds of elephants, Grevy's zebras, many giraffes, and lions come here to drink. Around the Ewaso Ng'iro are narrow belts of riverine forest and sporadic acacias. In them, you will meet many more species of animals like baboons, dik-dik, and black rhinos. Also, about 350 species of birds can be seen here.
