Martha Brae River is the number one rafting destination in Jamaica. The river descends with its winding course towards the north bank from Cockpit Country to Oyster Bay. The descent takes place on 9-meter-long bamboo rafts that can accommodate two adults and a captain. The rafting route starts in Rafters' Village and is about 4.8 kilometers long. In many places, the jungle forms a green tunnel of treetops and vines, and the birds complete the heavenly ambiance with their song.
