Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in the Indian city of Agra. The peculiarity of this building is the ivory-white marble used for its construction. It was constructed in 1632 by the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is designated the status of UNESCO world heritage in 1983. Another major attraction of this place is the famous Mughal garden in front of the mausoleum. Taj Mahal is open on all days of the week except Friday.
