Fishermen’s Bastion is located in the 1st district of Budapest and is part of Buda Castle. This bastion was built from 1895 to 1902 in Neo-Romanesque style. The beautiful building stands on the wall of Buda Castle facing the Danube and is often part of romantic photographs of couples in love. One of the most picturesque panoramic views of Pest is from the Fishermen Bastion, which overlooks the building of the Hungarian Parliament.
