Natural Monument Semuc Champey

There are places in Guatemala that are quite inaccessible and require a certain amount of effort to approach them. But when you get there, every fatigue disappears, and the senses are overwhelmed by a feeling of joy and bliss. Such a place is the Natural Monument Semuc Champey or Where the river hides under the rocks. The Río Cahabón has in its course a unique natural appearance of a limestone bridge, which on the upper side has a series of pools in which the river water is cold and clear, and in which one can swim. Most of the water passes under this formation, which led to its name.
