Well known for the distinctive shape of its shoreline, Sylt is a popular German seaside resort overlooking the North Sea. Beautiful beaches, gorgeous sand dunes and traditional lighthouses of the island are connected to the mainland by the Hindenburgdamm, a causeway with a railway line on top.
