Dalol
In the north of Ethiopia lies an area called Afar. This region is considered one of the most inhospitable areas in the world. The heat and the absence of freshwater are additionally spiced with geological activities that produce sulfur vapors because the Erta Ale volcano is close by. But it is precisely these geological activities in the Dallol locality that attract visitors from all over the world to see beautiful formations of bright yellow, orange and green, bordered by white minerals.
