Hiiumaa is the second largest island in Estonia. Located in the west of the country, in the Baltic Sea, the island has an exceptional strategic position, so it has been conquered many times. Traces of the settlement of the island date back some 7000 years. Today Hiiumaa is considered the perfect getaway into nature from the city crowds. Here you can see one of the oldest lighthouses in the world, Kõpu, dating from the 16th century. There is also the Tahkuna Nature Reserve on the island, which hides untouched nature typical of northern Europe. The island is loved by hikers, surfers, sailors as well as nature lovers!
