Galapagos Beach at Tortuga Bay is a cove where, unlike the rest of Tortuga Bay, swimming is allowed. Tortuga Bay, located on the southern shore of Santa Cruz island of Galapagos, is a protected area where visitors can walk the 2,5-kilometer-long hiking trail, and observe many species of birds, Galapagos crabs, marine iguanas as well as the famous large turtles from the Galapagos. Swimmers and divers will be greeted by a multitude of fish species, in addition to white tip reef sharks, as well as tiger sharks.
