Boiling Lake
Boiling Lake is a part of Morne Trois Pitons National Park. It is 10 kilometers away from the capital, but there is no road to the lake, so a visit to this location means hiking 13 kilometers. The water temperature is 80-92 degrees Celsius, so it is impossible to swim in the lake. The whole area is covered with a cloud of steam, with a heavy sulfur smell. Countless geysers hidden along the path leading to the lake can easily burn an ankle. Visitors who choose to see this phenomenon should be prepared to cross the stream, high humidity, and swim in warm streams.
