Akamas Peninsula National Park

Akamas Peninsula National Park is a relatively large national park located in the western part of the island. The area of the park covers 230 square kilometers. The Mediterranean forest is preserved here, containing 39 endemic plant species, but also a rich diversity of fauna. Hiking is popular among the visitors, especially the visit to the Bath of Aphrodite, from which some of the trails start.
