Desierto Florido
The appearance of Desierto Florida in the southern part of the Atacama Desert also testifies to the fact that nature is a fantastic mechanism. Unlike the central parts of the desert where there is no precipitation for several years in a row, the El Niño phenomenon causes rain clouds to shed their precious cargo over the desert in rainy years and lead to desert bloom.
