Okavango Delta is formed in the area where the Okavango River flows into the Kalahari Desert forming a unique ecosystem. Every year about 11 cubic kilometers of water vaporizes Okavanga planes, making this area very rich in wildlife, especially birds (about 400 species). Besides birds, there is a large number of fish species, and mammals typical for the African continent. This large area is one of the UNESCO Seven Natural Wonders of Africa since 2014.
