Tourists who seek a peaceful place should visit Andromeda Botanic Gardens. Once the family garden, Mrs. Iris Bannochie made this garden from a variety of trees, palms, and other plants collected from her travels across the globe. The lady owner bequeathed the garden to the Barbados National Trust in 1988. Patient visitors can see hummingbirds around flowers, dragonflies beside a pond, or even monkies looking for food in the late afternoon or evening.
