Sundarbans National Park is the biggest mangrove forest in the world. This area is one of the largest royal Bengal tiger reserves in the world under the protection of UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Sundarbans National Park covers part of the Ganges river delta, an almost impenetrable web of waterways in the mangrove forest. This park is also home to very rich flora and fauna: Saltwater crocodiles, Horseshoe crabs, Gangetic dolphins, Carpenter sharks, and many more.
