Lower Zambezi National Park is located in southeastern Zambia, on the north bank of the Zambezi River. The park is positioned about 140 kilometers east of the capital of Zambia, Lusaka. The good quality road network to Lower Zambezi National Park has increased the number of visitors but, the reason for their great interest is the wide biodiversity of both plant and animal species. The mighty Zambezi River allows you to watch herds of elephants coming to bathe and drink water, while lions, leopards, and crocodiles watch them from a distance. The list of species that can be seen here is long, and it should be mentioned that part of the accommodation is located on the riverbank and that some of them provide the opportunity to dine on a small raft that slowly sails the river.
