St. Peter's Basilica was designed by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, and Carlo Maderno. The dome of the basilica is one of the largest in the world. Visitors point out the overwhelming beauty and size of this famous building. St. Peter's Basilica has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1984.
