Minor Mosque is located in Tashkent, in a part of the city called Minor, after which it is named. It is one of the largest mosques in Central Asia and one of the most beautiful ones. Completed in 2014, this mosque has become one of the favorite landmarks in the capital of Uzbekistan. The exterior of the building is a mix of traditional Islamic elements and modern solutions and materials. White marble and blue domes further express the purity of the building. The interior is even more refined because you can see endless rows of ornaments and calligraphic records from the holy book of the Koran. Visits are free of charge but the code of modest dress must be respected, both for men and women.
