Playa Mansa
Playa Mansa is located on the southwest edge of the town of Maldonado. Its name can be translated as “mild beach”. Nearby you can find Playa Brava, which is considered “rough.” Tourists usually spend the morning and noon on Playa Brava, and in the afternoon they move to Playa Mansa when the water is rough and the wind intensifies on the neighboring beach. For lovers of sand sports, Playa Mansa is a better choice, while for sport fishing, Playa Brava is better.
