Lake Geneva is shared between Switzerland and France and represents Europe's largest Alpine lake. Beeing a common thing for some of the most beautiful Swiss cities, it represents one of the most popular tourist destinations. A famous landmark - a fountain in Lake Geneva named The Jet d'Eau is shooting water 150 meters into the air. Lake Geneva was used as an inspiration for one of the most popular rock and roll songs of all times - Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple.
