Marigot Bay is a bay on the west coast of St Lucia. It is an excellent example of natural architecture - a natural shelter from hurricanes that often hit the shores of the Caribbean islands. The part of the bay that is deeper in the inland is sheltered on three sides by steep hills, and the depth of the bay itself allows vessels to enter. Even when there is no danger of hurricanes, this is one of the most favorite places for anchoring yachts on St. Lucia.
