The MS World Discoverer is a shipwrecked vessel that carried passengers on cruises across the South Pacific and in April 2000 damaged the hull on an uncharted reef or rock in the Solomon Islands. The ship's crew heroically prevented the disaster, taking care of the passengers on another vessel, and stranded the ship in Roderick Bay to prevent sinking. Lately, the shipwreck has served as a tourist attraction that attracts many visitors with its story.
