Chinatown

While it is very touristy, Singapore's Chinatown is worth a visit. You'll find the most authentic Chinese culture in this neighborhood. Some of the highlights are Chinese Heritage Site, Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple and of course, you must try the Chinese restaurants. Don't worry about getting lost in translation; English markers have been installed throughout the neighborhood.
