Temple of Saint Sava

Church of St. Sava is a Belgrade-based, monumental architectonic site built on the spot where is believed that Ottomans burnt St. Sava’s relics. Construction of the largest orthodox church in Serbia started at the end of the 19th century but progress was slow until 2002. The church is still under construction, financed by donation but it’s open for visitors.
