Su Nuraxi di Barumini

Su Nuraxi di Barumini is one of a kind example of a defensive structure in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The oldest parts are dating back to seventeenth-century BCE and were fully excavated in the 1950s. The complex consists of circular defensive towers built of dressed stone. Su Nuraxi is truly a Sardinian must-see.
