Porto Alegre
Porto Alegre is a small village lying in a bay in the south of São Tomé. Translated in English, its name means Happy Port. The EN2 road, which connects the northern and southern parts of the island, ends in this village. This village is a beautiful little fishing village blessed with beautiful beaches, where you will not find crowds, and yet you do not have to go into the wild, because in the village you have restaurants, bars, and markets. Many visitors to Porto Alegre consider it their best discovery in São Tomé and Príncipe.
