Frigate Bay is contained of two bays on opposite sides of the isthmus located southeast of the capital of Basseterre, on the island of St Kitts. Frigate Bay North is a bay facing the Atlantic Ocean, and here you can expect slightly larger waves, a little more wind, but swimming is still possible, even for younger swimmers. Frigate Bay Beach (South) is a bay facing the Caribbean Sea, where the water is calm, warm, and the beach is full of beautiful shells that make a great joy for the youngest. There are only 400 meters of land between these two beaches, so we recommend that you visit both. Not that you will often have the opportunity in your life to swim in the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean with a ten-minute walk in between!
