The 7 Sculpture is the work of Richard Serra, adorning MIA Park in Doha. This sculpture is made of seven steel plates 2,4 meters wide, 24,6 meters high, and 10 centimeters thick, which form a vertical structure resembling minarets throughout the Muslim world. The number seven is mentioned several times in the Qur'an and also often motive in Qatar culture and folklore. This sculpture is formed so that it is possible to enter inside the slabs, because there are three slits, and the experience of the play of light and the sound of the wind is unusual.
