Crooked Forest

Crooked Forest or Krzywy Las in Poland, is a group of 400 pine trees that were planted around 1930 in Gryfino, about 20 kilometers southwest of the city of Szczecin, in northwestern Poland. It is assumed that the strange shape of the trees was obtained by human influence. The way, as well as the tools for this, were never discovered. It is assumed that the growth of pine trees was influenced for purpose furniture or boat manufacturing, although this has not been proven either. Still, these strange trees are a favorite place for tourists.
