Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

Once tagged as one of the 7 Wonders of the World, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is a magical underground journey that takes you to a world of spectacular darkness and fascinating rock formations. This vast protected area located at the northern part of Puerto Princesa, Palawan extends up to 54,860 acres, making it one of the longest underground rivers in the world. Because of its natural abundance and local government protection, the park shelters a wide array of forest formations as well as very vibrant flora and fauna life. The best time to visit the river is during the summer season, from April to June, where you can enjoy a more picturesque scenery with lesser chances of mist.
